Why invest
Seven converging pillars that make GETSO WasteConnect a compelling venture-grade opportunity for institutional capital, impact investors, and strategic partners.
Africa's recycling market is projected to exceed $30 billion by 2030. Less than 10% of waste is formally recycled today — a massive greenfield opportunity for organised digital infrastructure.
Built on GETSO Scraps & Multi-Purpose Company Ltd — an operating business since 2022 with established collection networks, supplier relationships, and 1,000+ tons of recyclable materials verifiably traded & recovered. Forecast scaling to 12,400+ tons by 2030 is modeled, not historical.
Two-sided platform with powerful network effects connecting households, dealers, collectors, recyclers, logistics and manufacturers. Winner-take-most dynamics in a fragmented market.
Food-grade rPET processing facility planned with 30,000 tonnes per annum capacity. Reduces import dependence, serves FMCG and beverage manufacturers, and commands premium pricing.
Every tonne diverted from landfill avoids methane and virgin plastic emissions. Aligned with Nigeria's NDC, global ESG frameworks, and positioned for carbon credit revenue streams.
Active engagement with FMEnv, NESREA, LAWMA, and Lagos State. Aligned with Nigeria's EPR rollout and positioned for concession contracts, PPP structures, and climate finance access.
Platform built for multi-country rollout from day one. West African expansion path mapped. Replication playbook leverages Nigeria's operating experience, supplier templates, and technology stack.
