GETSO Scraps & Multi-Purpose Company Ltd was founded with a simple conviction: every piece of waste is a resource in the wrong place. Operating from Lagos — Africa's largest urban economy — we combine boots-on-the-ground collection, industrial recovery, and digital coordination to make recycling reliable, profitable and inclusive.
Today we work with households, manufacturers, government agencies and development partners to divert thousands of tons of recyclables every year, create dignified green jobs, and build the technology backbone Africa's circular economy needs to scale.

Usman Yusif Suraj
A passionate climate entrepreneur and circular-economy advocate, Usman founded GETSO to build the recycling backbone Africa needs. He leads strategy, partnerships and the long-term vision of the GETSO WASTECONNECT platform.

Foundation
GETSO is founded in Lagos with a mission to industrialise recycling in Nigeria.
2022
First Operations
Launched collection routes serving 12 communities and 30+ corporate clients.

PET Recovery Line
Commissioned a dedicated PET processing line and onboarded export buyers.

GETSO WASTECONNECT
